Troy Anthony Mitchell

 There were 103 Fire Fighters to pass away in the year of 2008.  Jarrett was # 103 on New Year's Eve. 

 It's been a long hard year for us.  I feel that it's been a little harder on me, since Jarrett also worked part-time at the same Post Office that I worked at.  Therefore, I got to see him more than everyone else.  I got to see him dance & hear him sing while putting up mail and see how hard he worked - knowing that he was working on his only off day from his regular job. 

 He didn't do the fire fighting job for the money.  As other fire fighters & their families know...it's not for the money.  He loved his job and enjoyed it to the fullest.  We just wish he were still here to keep enjoying it!

My only son went to Heaven Feb. 8, 2008. He died in a tragic traffic accident at the tender age of 22. Matt was my Christmas Eve baby. Best gift I ever received. My heart breaks for all these parents that lost thier children.

Matt was a good boy, loving, kind, with an incredible sense of humor.  He was half way through the police academy and
one semester from graduating college. I miss him so much and still don't know how to live without him. 

Troy and Matt and all the others are heavenly friends.

Dragan Jović who was born in Mostar, BiH on October 14, 1985
and went with our LORD on September 12, 2009
 
I myself have lost beautiful son in a car accident ( roll over) at the age 24, and it's the hardest thing that any parent can bare.How can I remember on my son Dragan( Name Dragan, translated from croatien on english: darling,dear,sweethard) without others Angel..Remember that he is looking down on you from heaven and one day you will be together again,his message from heaven:

As long as I have the prayer and love of each of you,I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

I come here with a heavy heart. To see another parent's memorial of their son......so devastating.

Troy was so handsome. I have looked at so many faces of children on memorial sites that lost their lives in the last 3 years since I lost my son.....all so handsome and beautiful. I just don't understand it at all. Is it true that only the best die young? I believe it now from what I've seen.

I lost my only (biological) child, my son, Crawford, in May of 2007 to a little known disease called; Leptospirosis. He was 2 weeks from graduating high school when he contacted it. This disease kills within days. It killed my son in 4. Forever 18.

I grieve with you and your family for your loss of your son, Troy. The pain that a parent must endure after their loss of their child is just so unbearable. Even after more than 3 years since my son died; I carry the heavy loss each and everyday as I know that you do.

All those that loved Troy when he was here on earth with us; love him still. The missing and longing for him never ceases.

Born in Osceola, Arkansas on March 14, 1983. Joseph Eldon Smith weighed 11lbs even when he was born.
We lived in Dyess Arkansas. That is where he started school. He went to school through the second grade in Dyess Arkansas.
We moved to Fayettville Arkansas that is where he attended school. Joseph was a shy baby but he did grow out of that. He took that after me (Mom). He was always so loving and a Happy child.


Joseph passed April 14 2005 exactly one month after his birthday.

Born in Wisconsin Monroe Clinic Hospital, Monroe WI on October 18, 1994. 

     Passed away on January 24, 2005 at the age of 10.after spending 2 months in the hospital away from home

but never ever alone ...he slipped away from us on the 4th night at home sleeping in bed next to mommy where he wanted to be!

Our precious Leah was murdered by a boy she had known just a few weeks.
This horrible act by another can not take center stage to Leah's legacy.

Jaime Leigh, was born on December 17, 1976

 in Newport News, Virginia and brought tremendous

 joy into our lives.  Our lives changed with the birth

of this beautiful baby girl and we treasured her from

the moment she was born.

Jaime grew up in New Jersey and passed

 on March 26, 2005 at the age of 28. 

Our enormous love for Jaime will live

forever in our memories, hearts and souls.

Our lives will never be the same without her.

 Ryan Patrick Bezy. Ryan was born in New Albany, 
 Indiana on September 2, 1988. On July 31, 2008 he lost his life saving his fiance's
 little brother who was 12 yrs old at the time from drowning in the Ohio river. 

 Ryan will always be remembered for the sweet, kind, gentle soul he always was to 
 everyone he met. He was the most unselfish person I have ever known, I am so 
 proud and honored to be his mom. I will forever be heartbroken and lost without 
 him until I am with him again. ♥

Sandi Ann Tapia   Born September 8th, 1969 and passed away March 16th, 2008

Sandi was was just 38 when she passed away. She is so loved & missed by all her family.
I cannot yet comprehend why this had to happen to her. It still seems like a bad dream to me.
She was Beautiful, Kind & was good to everyone. I talked to her 1-1/2 hours before she passed away & could detect anything was wrong, I thank God that I got to tell her I Love you & her me when she left earlier in the day. She will forever live in our Hearts

Our Son Michael Shane Miller

Born in Tuscaloosa Alabama on October 19, 1977. Our Precious son was born.

 He was 9lb. 0 oz. with black hair and black eyes. At Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Michael was baptized by Brother Max at New Hope Church in Fayette, Alabama. He loved the Lord.

Michael dreamed of becoming a coal miner. When he was little he put his dad's hard had on and told his dad he wanted to go to work with him. And someday he would be a coal miner. And his dream was fulfilled he became a coal miner. He worked for the coal mines before he was killed.

Passed away on February 16, 2006 at the age of 28 years

2-16-2006 Our precious son was shot and killed at his home in Northport, Alabama.

he was a Christain man who will be truely missed by his family and friends.

Most of all his Mom, Dad, Brother and two nephews that he loved so much.
