I thought I saw your face today,
in the sparkle of the morning sun.

"Their work on earth is done."

I thought I heard your voice today,
then laugh your hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear one at last."

I thought I felt your touch today,
in the breeze that rustled by.

"The spirit never dies."

I thought I saw my broken heart,
in the crescent of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The Lord is coming soon."

I thought that you had left me,
for the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They left you with their love."

I thought that I would miss you so,
and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They're with you every day."
"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
will forever be around,
reminding you of the love you shared,
and the peace they've finally found.

"I'll lend you, for a little while,
a child of mine,"He said
"For you to love while he lives
and mourn when he is dead.
It may be six or seven
years, or twenty-two or three, but will you
till I call him back,
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and shall his stay be brief,
you'll have his lovely memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay,
as all from earth return
but there are lessons taught down there
that I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over
in my search for teachers true,
and from the throngs that crown life's lanes,

to take him back again."
I fancied that I heard them say
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joys thy child will bring
The risk of grief we'll run.
We will shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may---

Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."

Happy 50th Birthday Dad!

Troy was so looking forward to his Dad's 50th birthday.

9 months before he recived his angel wings, Troy had purchased a special gift

for his Dad and asked me to put it away for safe keeping. Next Sunday I

will honor Troy's wishes and in his memory present the gift to his Dad.

.

Oh how I Wish Troy was here to do it himself in person. I know he will

be watching over his Dad so proudly showering him with his sweet

angel kisses and warm heavenly hugs.

Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in

Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through

and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy!

Dear Edwina,

Thank you for lighting a candle for my angel Aaron.  I do hope he and Troy are friends, they both loved GREEN.  I do know how you long to hold Troy again I too want to hold my angel Aaron and WE WILL. God be with you and yours.

I WAS READING TROY'S LIFE STORY AND WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT HE HAD SCHEUERMANN'S DISEASE. MY SON JOSHUA ALSO HAD THIS PAINFUL DISEASE.  I HAD NEVER HEARD OF IT BEFORE AND HAVE NOT HEARD OF IT SINCE UNTIL NOW. I'M SO SORRY FOR THE SUDDEN LOSS OF TROY. WHAT A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN YOU HAVE. BEAUTIFUL EYES AND SMILE.  I KNOW THAT JOSHUA HAD SUFFERED TERRIBLY WITH HIS BACK AND I ALSO HAD TO SEEK SEVERAL SPECIALISTS BEFORE HE WAS DIAGNOSED.  THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE LIFE OF YOUR SON. WHAT A WONDERFUL, LOVING MAN HE WAS.  GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

There's a place
I've never seen
beyond this world we know,
